Wild Like The Wind | Lidded Jar

Part of The Horses Are Calling collection, Wild Like The Wind is a one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic lidded jar inspired by freedom, instinct and following your own path.

Hand-built from terracotta clay, the jar is crowned with a hand-sculpted horse standing proudly on the lid. Flowing around the body, a raised ribbon of white clay has been sculpted and illustrated by hand with black underglaze, carrying the words “Wild like the wind”, taken from the collection's original poem.

Finished with a glossy transparent glaze, the warm terracotta, sculptural horse and flowing ribbon create a sense of movement, as though carried by the wind.

Designed as both a sculptural artwork and functional vessel, it can be used to hold jewellery, keepsakes or other little things worth keeping.
