The Horses Are Calling | Decorative Plate

One of only two handcrafted decorative plates created as part of The Horses Are Calling collection, this sculptural ceramic piece explores the quiet confidence that comes from trusting your own direction.

Hand-built from terracotta clay, the plate is encircled by horses in motion, each one individually slip trailed onto the surface using terracotta slip. At its centre sits an original handwritten poem, framed in white clay and illustrated with black underglaze, inviting a moment of pause amongst the movement that surrounds it.

Inspired by themes of instinct, momentum and the courage to embrace the present. This piece celebrates the feeling of knowing when it is time to lean into the moment and move forward. A reminder to follow our instincts and trust the process.

Designed as decorative piece to be displayed on a wall, resting on a stand or used as a decorative centrepiece.
